In February 2021, the domestic electrolytic nickel production was 14073 tons, a month on month increase of 17.46%, and a year-on-year increase of 5.97%. In February, the operating rate of domestic electrolytic nickel smelting was 81.355%, which was higher than that of 69.25% last month. In general, many areas are still in the state of shutdown. It is reported that one of them is still in the process of maintenance, while the others have no output. Only two enterprises maintain a relatively stable production state. It is reported that the impact of the Spring Festival holiday in February is relatively limited, and the latest data shows that there are different degrees of increase.
Gansu Province: in February, the output of electrolytic nickel was not affected by the holiday, which was around 13000 tons, and the operating rate rose to 92.86%. At present, the factory maintains normal production.
Jilin region: in February, the electrolytic nickel factory was still in the state of shutdown and maintenance, and there was no output; At present, the output of nickel sulfate is basically stable with that of last month. It is understood that the manufacturer plans to resume production around Qingming this year, and the production capacity has not changed. The specific time has not been announced.
Xinjiang: the output of electrolytic nickel rose slightly in February compared with that of last month to 1073 tons, with a month on month increase of 9.38%.
Tianjin area: no output of electrolytic nickel in February. It is reported that there may be a production plan in the later stage, so we will continue to pay attention to it.
Guangxi: no electrolytic nickel was produced in February, and the factory focuses on the production of nickel sulfate. At present, the factory maintains a full production capacity of 100000 tons, and the production plan of electrolytic nickel has not been known yet.
Shandong area: no output of electrolytic nickel in February, so far we have not known the later plan of the plant, so we will continue to pay attention to it.
On the whole, at present, the four enterprises have no output, and some of them have no plans to resume production. At present, the production and operation of refineries in operation will maintain normal state, although the Spring Festival holiday factors have an impact, but to a lesser extent, the actual output will increase by a certain proportion. In March, due to the increase of working hours, and the steady progress of production scheduling of enterprises in production, as well as the arrival of the peak consumption season after the year, some enterprises may resume production, so the output is expected to maintain the growth trend.
